Davis Family Photos

The following images are all that have been discovered of our Davis family heritage.   Each picture here can be "clicked" to see a larger image and more information.

One of only two known pictures of our ancestor, Mary Lavinia Gibson, with her father, James Ambrose Gibson..

The photo was probably taken somewhere in the Chickasa Nation, Indian Territory in the 1880s.

The sister to our Elijah Lee, Nancy Elizabeth Davis, is seen in this photo on the right with the family of Laura Elizabeth (Davis) Fulton.

Like the photo below, this  was probably taken in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma between 1910 and 1915, perhaps at the same time.

William Ambrose Davis, named in part for his grandfather, James Ambrose Gibson, is the only known son of Elijah and Mary Davis.

The photo was probably taken somewhere in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma Territory between 1900 and 1905.

This old photo shows William Ambrose Davis with his first wife, Tillie King.  They are not believed to have had any children.  In 1924,  he married Lola Blanche Miller.

This photo was may have been taken somewhere in Osage County, Oklahoma probably between 1910 and 1920.

A nice portrait of Lucy E. (Davis), wife of Charles Bert Roberson and their firstborn son, Charles Bernace Roberson.  The unknown woman may be Lucy's sister, Saphronia Rachel Davis.

This wonderful old mystery photo of the General Merchandise Store of J. Z. Cacy provides some clues to branches of the Davis family.

Based on communications with other Cacy family members, this was probably taken in Sapulpa, Creek Co., Oklahoma, in the early 1900s.

This old photo shows John Zaddock and Rhoda W. (Cline) Cacy, with their little girl, Edna.

Edna was born in February 1898 and the family is in the Choctaw Nation on the 1900 U. S. Census.  Therefore, this picture was probably taken there in the early 1900s.
